“HOSPITAL OF HEALTH, HEALING AND HOPE”

Despite many security challenges and roadblocks over the past year, we have completed the structure of our newest clinic building. The “Hospital of Health, Healing and Hope” is located in Waziri, a rural community near Ikara city.

A message from the President & Executive Director

Dear friends and supporters, At the birth of Jesus, the angels proclaimed, “Peace on earth and good will to all people.” As we look around our world today, we might ask: “Where is the peace and good will?” We see terrible wars raging in Sudan, Ukraine, Israel/Palestine and other places. We see angry partisan divisions in our own country. In Nigeria, we see economic conditions and food insecurity for the rural and urban poor that are worse now than at any time in the 22 years Kateri Medical Services has been working there. There is no full-scale war at the moment, but desperate people competing for scarce resources take extreme measures to survive and localized violence is an ever-present reality.
