4/11/2016

Once-every-three years we host a Fundraising Dinner to benefit Kateri Medical Services.

This Fundraising Dinner is a very important part of the Kateri Medical Clinic mission for at least three reasons:

1) It is our primary vehicle for raising sustainable funding for our medical missions in Nigeria – both our two ongoing clinics and our annual two-week FaithCare intensive medical mission.
2) It is an opportunity to invite friends and colleagues to learn more about our work in Nigeria.
3) it is a celebration which reminds our faithful supporters of the great work that their contributions make possible.

Our Work

Over the past 13 years we have helped 150,000 people  with medical care who otherwise would not have had access to healthcare. It costs us $4 per person per year to provide healthcare.

For one night bring your checkbook for a small or large gift. Anything is appreciated. Sustaining givers can fill our a 3 yr pledge pledge card, which is about $3 a day, $20 per week, $1000 per year. For the price of a cup of coffee is it worth to save the life of a child? This is the best charitable deal you will ever get in terms of spending money.

This benefit will help us to continue  to support our existing clinic in Kateri as well as our second clinic in Iburu which recently opened.  We are hoping for a third clinic in the near future and will be able to do that work by means of your financial support.

How can I help?

  1. Pray. From the beginning our ministry has run on prayer. We can’t live without it. Donate. We run entirely on donations. We run our clinics at a cost of $4.00 per person for every patient we help. Ninety nine cents out of every dollar donated goes directly to medical care. You may send your donations to: Kateri Medical Services, Inc. 11 Church Street, Tariffville, CT 06081. (Kateri Medical Services, Inc. is a 501©3 non-profit corporation registered with the IRS. All donations are tax deductible.)
  2. Volunteer for our annual FaithCare intensive medical missions. Last week in July and first week in August every year. We need medical professionals and non-medical people to help with logistics and prayer.
  3. Sponsor a Medical Clinic We can build a small clinic for $30,000. Sponsor a Medical Team We can pay one doctor and two nurses for one year for $20,000.

The Kateri Medical Services board sends out a newsletter twice a year. Submit you email address and we will add you to our mailing lists.
