Medical Outreach

Every year, we conduct a one week medical mission at each one of our clinics.  Four weeks very year. One week at each of our clinics.

In 2020, we were forced to cancel our plans for free medical outreach missions due to the COVID 19 pandemic.
We hope to be able to resume these missions in 2021, if possible.

Volunteers

We bring volunteers from the United States. Our team of volunteers is typically about 10 medical professionals and non-medical people who help with logistics, crowd control, record keeping, prayer counseling and pharmacy. We join teams of Nigerian volunteers in each of our clinic locations (usually about 50 volunteers each week).
During the free medical outreaches it is a beehive of activity, with many volunteers from the Diocese, Nigerian Youth Service Corps, as well as volunteers from the United States

Mission Partners

Often we partner with Faithcare – a non-profit based in Hartford, Connecticut – to bring about 40 medical professionals (surgeons, consulting doctors, eye-doctors, dentists, nurses ) to help our regular clinic staff offer a wider range of medical services.

Our local partners recruit volunteers from their church members and others.
