There is no charge to attend, but donations will be accepted to support the Kateri Clinic. Learn more at the Facebook Event Page. We had a great turnout for our Tapestry concerts on June 4 and 5. We had beautiful and joyful muaic. We had a full church on both nighys. And we raised $ 10,114 in donations. All of these funds will go to buy medicine for our Faithcare medical mission in July. This is enough money to buy medicine for about 4,000 people. We are so grateful to Tapestry Singers for thei dedication to our ministry.

We had a wonderful evening at the First Cathedral on Saturday May 7 to help raise funds for the Kateri Medical Services. As of May 31, 2016 we have raised $106,000 toward our expenses over the next three years. Along funds we have received previously, this will enable us to keep running Kateri Clinic for another three years. We also have enough funds to open and run our new clinic in Iburu for the next three years. We also have enough funds in reserve to begin construcrution of a third clinic in Gusau (abput 4 hours drive north of Kaduna). All in all, the Fund Raising Dinner was a huge auccess. We are grateful to all who attended and mafe generous contributions.
Many people from various walks of life, faiths and cultures meeting as friends to celebrate the work being done at this Medical Mission in Nigeria.
Dr. Tioluwa Olokunde gave a heart-wrenching speech about relieving the burden of the living and the dead. An easy and simple message that carried a tremendous burden - relieved by the work of ordinary folk in America.
So far we have raised more than $75,000 from this event. We anticipate more coming in the near future and thank everyone who contributed!
Dear Friends and Supporters,
I wanted to let you know about our donations and pledges from our Benefit Dinner. So far, we have received $88,000 in one-time gifts and three – year pledges. In addition to this, we had $6,000 from our corporate sponsors (which effectively paid for the entire dinner) for a total to date of $94,000. There are still pledges coming in, so this is not a final number. But this is a very good result. Thank you again to everyone who helped us. This is a great encouragement and guarantees that we will have the funds needed to continue our ministry and to grow it over the next three years. Please keep praying for the pledges yet to come in. We are working on one opportunity that has great potential. Pray fervently. Thank you all again for your generous offering to time, talent and treasure. I am so very grateful to all of you for all that you have done. Grateful beyond words. Sincerely yours in Christ, Fr. Tom Dear friends and colleagues,
A very big thank you to everyone who helped with the Kateri Medical Services Benefit Dinner this past Saturday. The dinner was a great success in every possible way. The music was great and lifted everyone’s spirits. The food was excellent and the service was wonderfully hospitable. The audio-visual aids really helped to underscore the message. The table decorations were beautiful and helped to set the tone for the festive occasion. The speakers were inspiring, informative and engaging. The printed materials at each table were attractive and informative and helped to underscore the importance of what we are doing and articulate our vision for the future. And we had a great turnout !!!!! As you all know, great turnout doesn’t happen by accident. It happens when people invite their friends, colleagues, relatives and neighbors to come. And then remind them that they said they were coming. And then come with them. You all did that very well and, because of your hard work, we had a great result. I do not yet have the final financial figures and donations are still coming in. I hope to give you an accurate figure by the end to this week. But let me say that it was a very good result based on our preliminary figures. But I didn’t want to wait so long to say thank you to all of you for your hard work, prayers and dedication. I am so overwhelmingly grateful for all of you. Sincerely yours in Christ, Fr. Tom |
