For the past two and a half years, we have been forced to eliminate our intensive medical outreach missions and mobile clinics. At first, this was due to Covid restrictions and more recently, due to increasing security problems where most of our clinics are located. However, in spite of all of these challenges, we have partnered with Cornerstone Health Foundation to conduct smaller scale outreaches, both in urban and rural areas.
In 2021, we helped 11,905 patients in our six regular clinics plus 2,873 through our medical outreach missions for a total of 14,778 people served. See a breakdown below:

In January of 2020, we received a generous donation to build a residence for the lead doctor at Graceland Hospital in Gusau. The hospital was completed in late 2018, but up until now, we have not had a residence for the lead doctor. It is important to have on-site housing so the doctor can be available in emergencies.
The Anglican Diocese of Gusau is located in the capital city of Zamfarra State in the north of Nigeria. In this part of Nigeria, Christians are a small minority (about 10%) among a Muslim majority (about 90%). Since the time of Nigerian independence from Britain (1960), there has been much animosity and violence toward the Christian populations in the northern states, particularly in Gusau.
In January of 2020, we received a generous donation to build a house for our head doctor at Graceland Hospital in Gusau. Graceland has been in operation since 2018, but we have not had a house for the doctor.
Graceland Hospital, along with Graceland International School, has been the dream of Bishop John Danbinta for many years. Bishop John is very grateful for all those who have contributed to this project.
Meet Augustine, one of the masons who labored in the hot sun for the last two years to build this hospital building. Like all construction workers, he is proud of his work.
