At Kateri Clinic, we have been forced to discontinue our annual medical outreach and our mobile clinics at Kateri Clinic due to violence, robbery and kidnapping activities in the area, but thankfully, we have found a partner.
Because we have had to cancel our normal annual medical outreach missions, we have partnered with a church-based volunteer effort in Kaduna, called Cornerstone Health Foundation.
It was founded by Yohana Iko, a high school science teacher. He organizes volunteer doctors, nurses, denies and others to provide free medical care to poor urban and rural people.
Kateri Medical Services has partnered with Yohana to provide assistance with buying medicine for these outreach efforts. Through the partnership, we were able to help 2,873 people in 2021 at three outreaches held in Kaduna Area.
