The importance of this outreach to the community cannot be overstated. It came at a time of the year when farmers experience extreme lack of financial capacity and furthermore against the backdrop of an already impoverished community, plagued by incessant killings from terrorists and bandits. We saw pathetic cases of individuals who endured health conditions that could have been emergencies if not for financial limitations. But in all of this, we thank God for those people we have been able to save from the hands of death and for those whose quality of life must have been improved by our interventions. Others benefited from diagnoses that wouldn’t have been Discovered. These persons may not have the opportunity to thank you directly, but they have felt your impact and we are witnesses to it. I pray that as you seek God in the sick, He will equally reward you for the scripture says: ‘For whoever would come near to God must first believe that He exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him.’ Dr. Itodo Williams (left) and Dr. Kenneth Orbanga Ayange (right) having just completed an inguinal herniorrhaphy on a 65 year old man who had been in pain for two years. He was a member of the church community who couldn’t afford the surgery at another facility. This is one of the many good things your support is achieving.
