In April of 2018, we opened our third clinic The Arthur and Esther Bradley Memorial Anglican Hospital in Gidan Waya in the Diocese of Kafanchan, Nigeria. Since that time, the patient demand has grown and, at peak periods, there is not enough bed space for all of the patients.
To accommodate this growth, Bishop Markus Dogo raised funds to begin construction of new wards for adult men and women. Once they had raised enough funds to construct the masonry walls, Kateri Medical Services helped by sending funds for construction of the roof. The roof is being completed now.
In 2021, the interior work will begin. At each stage, we expect our local partners to do their very best to raise funds before we agree to help. In all of our partner clinics, the local partner has significant
“skin in the game”.
