Dear Friends and Supporters,
This year has been a difficult year for everyone here in the US. The COVID 19 pandemic, the lockdowns and the subsequent economic crisis has wreaked havoc all over the world. As bad as it has been here at home, it has been even more difficult for the our six clinics and the thousands of people they serve in Nigeria. In June, we received a grant from SAMS (The Society of Anglican Missionaries and Senders) to help support our efforts to help the victims of the pandemic.
Nigeria is a country of the young with almost half of the 180 million people under the age of 15. Currently Nigeria has nearly 31 million children below the age of 5 and about 7 million babies are born yearly.
In the tropics typhoid fever is a common infectious disease, that is also endemic in Nigeria
Just returned from a 3 week medical mission outreach in Nigeria. We had some very difficult security challenges, but we persevered and God blessed our efforts.
